Chuck's Aircraft is lead by an aviation-minded individual, passionate about the "art" of aircraft maintenance. Owned and managed by Robert (Bob) McBride, Jr., son of a retired US Air Force Colonel, aviation is in "Chuck's Aircraft" DNA.

With more than 40 years' experience in aircraft piloting and maintaining aircraft, Bob has won no less than 4 "Bronze Lindy's" for aircraft restoration and preservation at the EAA "Oshkosh" annual Fly-in. He and his aircraft have also been featured in "Vintage" and "Cessna Owners" magazines.

A pilot and an owner of several airplanes, Bob understands the partnership owner-pilots want from their maintenance professionals and strives every day to deliver that quality and confidence of service to his customers.

With the opening of the Austin Executive Airport, Bob took the opportuity to create "Chuck's Aircraft LLC" in the new maintenance facilities to serve the greater aviation community.

The namesake of the business is "Chuck", the beloved family canine; an homage to the family nature of the business. Though Chuck passed away in 2012, the new family dog, Munch, now helps around the shop!

Bob and his team work to treat all customers like a "part of the family".
